I am not saying that I did not park overnight on the street, I did. If that was all there was to it I would just pay the ticket and let it go.
The problem is that the local LEO's do not enforce the parking laws during the hours and times that they are most needed.
I live a block away from a public meeting house. They have yard sales and weddings and such that bring a lot of people into the area. These "out of towners" park illegally all over the place as well as in front of our driveways.
I also live about 2 blocks from a High School, same shit happens whenever there is an event there.
The friggin' LEO's scatter like roaches whenever these events take place and they let the same shit happen over and over again.
Then they sneak up in the middle of the night and take cheap shots at the tax paying residents who have to suffer with this shit on a daily basis by writing them "overnight parking" tickets for parking in what would normally be safe and legal parking.
Where is the sense in this?
If we call and complain about the parking problems - or GAWD FORBID about someone parked across the front of one of our driveways - we are met with bland ignorance and treated as if we are the nuisance.
Don't the cops have any self respect?:kissass:
