the replacement reman power steering pump i bought does not have the studs on the back of the reservoir like my original does.....do these just unscrew from the original and i transfer them to the replacement? it looks like the reman reservoir has plastic plugs in there now am i to assume these have threaded holes that go into the actual reservoir, if so how do i stop them from leaking when i transfer the studs from the original to the remanufactured pump? is there a gasket seal or do i just put sealent on the threads thks bob

The parts book shows the stud with NO seal. The valve has a seal. As far as the plastic plugs I don't know they may just pull out.

There is an oring between the reservoir and the cast pump body at each hole, but the threaded holes are blind.
