Q-Jet rebuild

Well bought a 73 Q-Jet to use on my 73. 7043202 And will need to rebuild it, I thought I would show pictures as I go along. this carb may be all original ( never rebuilt )
And I think it has set on a shelf for a while


you can see some bug home material.

There is a lot of black carbon every where Wonder why its there.

Very dirty.

Numbers. What do the other numbers And letters like FS after the carb number. Then there is a 4 digit number below?

On a few carbs I have found the idle jets are bent, How does this happen?

Any comments?

The idle screws get bent when Bubba uses a pry bar to get the lock caps off.

And that's some funny color water in that Arrowhead Water bottle too. Did you add some Bourbon? If you did, you need to add some more.
