Great footage, a good portion of it is from Zandvoort, the corber they are coming up to is the Tarzan corner...always a spectacle there LOL

Seeing something like that live is another reason I left the dragstrips in '68 or so....

right lane...BB powered BIG IMP.....left lane unknown.....big IMP looses it about 2/3 the way down the track, takes off sideways somehow, and while UPSIDE down clears the top of his slower left lane competitor....sails UNDER the phone pole wiring running between the return lane and the left lane.....lands on the roof must have been a easy 20' off the ground at high point.....

I was watching from the launch area, never expecting to see a MOON SHOT....

:shocking: even though the car was well crushed, the roll bar/cage? kept the driver alive....he managed to get out on his own....but he did go away in the crash wagon....:hissyfit:

and I know a old buddy has seen a bunch at Summit Point W.Va. race track....ground of which the Secret Svc practices for security details....along with other Fed.gov.agencies.....

I assume that most of the car drivers survived, but how crazy are the bike racers??
