"The Playing For Change group just released one of their all time favorite reggae Songs Around The World, the Toots and the Maytals classic, "Reggae Got Soul".

They brought together Toots Hibbert, Taj Mahal, Ernest Ranglin and many many more musicians to contribute to this worldwide reggae anthem. As Toots sings, "listen to the beat, move your dancing feet..." Turn it up and spread it around."

Ever hear of Augustus Pablo? He's passed away, no vocals.

Good/Neat video there.....I used to listen to Jazz/Blues/Bluegrass for some decades.....my Brother In Law was head of the music division of Library of Congress, right next to the Capitol building in DC....my sis was 13 years older than me, and so in summer school/school breaks, I would go down to the LC and visit him at work...he was head of recorded sound division in those daze, so I picked up on the stereo/hi-fi hobby I was in grade school then...maybe 7th grade....already into electronics and crap....

I was never into any POP music, just the above, plus Classical music.....

My BIL/Sis knew all the big names in the music world from Pavarotti/Sills on down the list to all the famous Jazz/Reggae artists.....

some years ago, I sold all the vinyl and stereo stuff......used to have a McIntosh system with 4 12" woofers PER CHANNEL

pushed by 400 watts/channel of Mc amps......

but you know, between the concerts, cars, guns, stereos.....I suffer from CHS these daze......Cant Hear Shit.....not helped by Teninitis... ringing in the ears....:surrender:
