Does anyone know where I can find a couple dozen of these bolts?

I've checked most of the places I know of but they only list 1/4" and larger (I need 10-24x1 1/4"). The only place that said they can get them wants me to buy 1000 or more.

Find a place that sells Auveco parts. They sell through a lot of local body shop supply places.

Are these for a factory correct resto ??

If not: the stainless bumper installation kit is pretty sweet... works with fiberglass or rubber bumpers....

Those are the bumper retainer bolt, right?
I'm on the very same boat. I had to cut those that didn't break.

looks like the bumper retainer bolts.... same here: I cut mine to get the bumper off after 30+ years of service.... replaced with SS that hopefully last long enough so I'll never have to deal with this ever again....

By saying that I was also implying I've been looking for those bolt for some time.
BBShark is right, look like their bumper bolts are what we're looking for.
MYBAD, what kind of bolt did you use, those very ones?

I checked several vendors for the front bumper mounting hardware for my '79 and could not find any. I found a kit for the rear but none for the front, does anyone have any leads?I tried mamotorworks, corvette central, corvette america and of course DocRebuild without any luck.

rubber bumpers don't use bolts, they use strips w/ welded on studs like those, the square part was once spot welded to those strips.

You can buy them new:

Sure, but my point, and I guess Stpman's one too is to restore the existing one if the bolt can be bought at good price.
"Restore all you can" is the only way to fight an :bomb: exploding budget :bomb:

Oh, ok. I have repaired those by welding in weld studs:

I used stainless ones so the bolts never seize again.

I used metrics w/ nuts, doesn't matter what size they are...as long as the nut goes on.

Those are a type of clinch bolt and there are bunches of different styles.
Penn is one outfit that makes them and also the presses to install them. We used a smaller one with the square clinch (6-32 if I remember correctly) for some parts and just made our own driver for a hammer to swedge them into the sheetmetal. Without the proper driver or press, you could just tack weld the back side.
We used to pick them up from Tower Fasteners but some other industrial suppliers (not automotive) have them too. 25 dollar min order (not quantity) from Tower.
