San Antonio??

Looks like I may get to spend some time in San Antonio. Time for an adult beverage or two?

I visited San Antonio in January. I like the city, especially the Riverwalk area.

Too bad it was raining the entire time I was there...

Linda and I stayed at Riverwalk for a couple days, with my friends from Ft. Worth, it's a fun place, and so the Alamo is within 3 block walk, see that too....

take the bus tour also, it's interesting....

there are a bunch of good food joints along the Riverwalk loop..

that pix on our living room wall? that's one of the stone bridges over Riverwalk....

Good Eats @ Lulu's

I stopped here when my travels took me through town back in the 90's. I had heard tales about the gargantuan cinnamon rolls. I got one to go, and was eating it for three days! The lunch I had was good too. I see from Yelp that "Man Vs. Food" filmed an episode there last year, and it looks like the quality is still high.

No deal. I just drove from Roswell NM to Carrizozo to have dinner with rjent- and that one is 90 miles each way.. And 2 lane thru the Capitan pass. Got to go thru Lincoln County too. Home of the Lincoln County wars.

Man, I wish I could get loose. I'm about 5 1/2 hours north, but love SA. My wife was born there. I'm off this weekend but we're babysitting grandkids! Not off for two weeks after. Maybe next time. Art
