The paint looks awesome.

I am humbled by the fact that you have access to such a nice work area and have gone to the extent of doing a body off restoration and paint job.

I always feel so inadequate when working in my driveway with jack stands and a creeper....

Yes, that is jetstream blue, a 2008 C6 color.

@ deeveeeight : this is the shop of my painter. Mine is somewhat smaller :crylol:

Same boat, I"d kill for my old garage back.....just a narrow 2 car here....and need park 2 cars, also...

:censored::crylol:

Beautiful. I like these metallic blue colors. My 68 is the "bright metallic light blue."

The floor of the shop under the car is corregated with a lot of openings. I suppose this is some short of a down draft system. I'd guess even if a passive system, it'd keep the paint spray plume from reflecting back up on the car and also help minimize picking up dust on the floor. Never saw anything like this, but I haven't taken a close at a paint stall in a long time.

The area you are looking at is the prep area. This is where the sanding and such takes place. Below the open floor is a sewage system, which can drain of all the dust accumulated paint and such.

My painter has a booth with the same type of floor in the paintbooth. Below that he has some water, that accumulates all the paint dust. He said that before he had a lot of problems with dust coming up from the filters when painting door sills and such.

Sadly, it won't be for some time, i can start getting her together. The wife has been in hospital for some 8 weeks now due to a spinal anesthesia that went bad. They caused a dural puncture that caused a heavy headache and it took about six weeks to get closed. So now, she's still left with a migraine like headache. Every thing around the house is up to me now...

Amigo, I know how you feel! My wife has Alzheimers and in the last two years things have fallen apart. As you are facing, I must do everything. So far I'm still able to work but I wonder for how much longer?

My racing program has been a shambles for the last 18 months, I may dump it entirely soon.

Hang in there, it's worth the battle!:1st:

There's not much alternative really. Just hope that it gets healed.
