Side pipes on a 82?

I'm not talking that ugly chrome ones but factory ones with the chrome covers. My problem would be hooking them up to my catalytic converter somehow.

'factory' ones do the major S bend after the exhaust manifolds to the side pipes; you could fit a universal there... ugly underneath, but functional
