My 1981 has a 175pmh speedometer. I can not find reference to this being stock. Does anyone know what the origin of this may be?

I see it's your first post....that speedo is a aftermarket conversion, many shops do that, that OEM 85 thing being kinda insulting.....:club:

Definitely not stock. Federal mandate was limited to 85 at the time. Used to see the 100+ ones advertised in Ecklers all the time back then. Most likely where yours came from.
