And yet another LAWYER attempting to make a stack of bucks on a legal action that any reasonably intelligent lawyer would have laughed right out of his/her office.

And those same lawyers wonder why people think that 90% of the profession should be invited to take a 10 day cruise on a ship that's sinking at the dock.
 
i think Tim nailed it. granted, the idiot woman was just looking for a payout. but there's a lawyer behind each one of these ridiculous suits rolling the dice. this one lost. in a perfect world, these lawyers would get so many (2 or 3) strikes and could be disbarred for wasting the court's time. but then that would make sense....
 
Lawyers should not be allowed to hold public office of ANY kind, they want to be considered occifers of the courts, fine, as such ANY other .gov office would be a conflict of interest,

they CAN resign their positions, and serve as .gov officials, BUT after that stint is over, they can NOT rejoin the Bar assn/occifer of the courts...

they MAY serve as cheep or unpaid advisers to various branches of .gov if they wish.....to assist in writing legislation or interpreting it, but judges can not be lawyers themselves....

that and term limits on ANY .gov office....say ten years for a US Rep, 8 years for a Senator, and maybe 6 years for a judge, ALL of them this lifetime crapola has to go....

my final shot is....the finest edjumakshunal systems we would muster over the last 50 years has brought us to this national shituation....
