T Arm Bolt grease vs. antiseize

The bolt is stainless, do you have a recommendation. Thanks, Jack

I'm a fan of anti-seize. Grease always seems to dry out. I use a nickel-silver anti-seize and it does dry out a little, but it always makes a difficult to remove slime on my hand when I get into it.

Check the pattern on the head.
No stripes : grade 2
3 stripes : grade 5
6 stripes : grade 8
If there's a 9 stamped on it, it's grade 9.
They should be grade 5, per constructor recommendation.

Is the sleeve in the trailing arm bushing plated steel or stainless? If it is stainless, You don't want a stainless bolt with it. Stainless on stainless will seize like it was welded together.

I thought of that, it is always good the have friends watch your back though, thank you. The sleave is not stainless.

I bought the SS bolts a few years ago from one of the typical corvette suppliers. Had them in storage for a couple of years.

When it came time to use them, the damn things wouldn't line up to go through the pocket or arm....friggin bolts were warped ever so slightly.
