The guy on the left is reading him the instructions from a Chilton manual..... :smash::smash::smash::smash:

It's really hard to get any value out of a Chilton manual. .....A little exaggeration here...The Chilton guide for replacing a kaflugal valve.

(1) Disconnect the battery
(2) Remove the kaflugal valve.
(3) Install a new kaflugal valve
(4) Reconnect the battery.

So much is useless. They will have some detail on major engine rebuilding activities, which almost none of their intended audience will be involved with.

For my DD 97 Ford Thunderbird, they have virtually nothing about smog control mechanisms..they say only licensed...BS,BS, are allowed to work on this stuff. They don't even show where the four oxygen sensors in the exhaust manifold and exhaust pipes are.

Forget about Chilton. For a Google/YouTube search, you'll find out much more than a Chilton manual. .......Well, OK, OK credit is due. The Google/Youtube resources will probably not tell you to disconnect the battery before, and reconnect it afterward.
