I have two manuals with the opposite labels as to the sending and return lines on a turbo 350. Does it matter? Which is which on the radiator. Merry Christmas to all on this forum. Jack

Jack,

I don't think it matters, it's just a send and return that goes through a coil in the radiator, it's under pressure so I wouldn't think if the feed was at the bottom vs. the top of the radiator it'd make much if any difference.

Merry Christmas to you too!!

IF it does matter, I would think you want the supply going in the bottom and the return coming out the top. I would have the hottest oil going in the bottom because thats where the coolest water will be.

It matters a lot in engine oil coolers with the matrix. To evacuate air.

I think most trans coolers are simple tubing so is likely to be much less critical?

HUMMM, maybe best to put output into the bottom of the rad tank and return to the front add on cooler, then to tranny.....:search::mobeer:
