figger 50 cents each cost of production....80 cents out the door 1.60 on the wharf at Long Beach....Wally world at 40% profit margin....some slop in the figgers for sure....BUT....

talk about dumping....freeking materials are more than the price...go figger HOW??

Gene, I bought my big wooden porch rockers (made in Indonesia) there, 27 bux each. Anywhere else they were 125.00 or more. When they want to make room for new merchandise they BLOW OUT the old stuff.
The other thing is CHINA.
Your numbers are off if you factor in CHINA.
I bought some color changing led solar powered lawn light doohickeys from Harbor Freight, 3 for 16.00 - CHINA.
This month they want 30 bux for the set..... seasonal supply and demand I guess.
Anyways, they can't be paying much for ANYTHING in China, it all comes here so friggin' cheap, and that INCLUDES the slow boat ride over, taxes, tariffs and so on.

So it seems that you are correct, but I am just amazed at how that price is affected...espicially with loading/UNloading a freighter and shipping from Long Beach....across the mountains, to wherever....

the costs of labor then the costs of EPA crap are costing US jobs like crazy...and I see it getting MUCH WORSE, and our .gov seems to not even see the problem, let alone get a good solution under way....
