The politicians of the world could all learn something from us.

Look at us. We all have our projects that we are either working on or have completed. We have either delegated responsibilities and found funds or done the work with our own hands and resources but we have got the job done! We are results oriented and do not get rewarded for a half baked job or failure. Why can't our governments do the same?

The only incentive is graft.:skeptic:

As posted in another thread, K st. LAWYERS, and look who gets elected?? lawyers....

I spot a HELL of a conflict of interest, don't YOU all???

:cussing:

Again GRIPE all you want, who put them there????

All we can DO is vote the the least offensive and that is typically a R after the name.....not that any R today is like Uncle Barry Goldwater....

:twitch:

then when they get in...it's all about the MONEY....and that's because of too damn many K st lawyers....

:cussing:

Well i see it this way. You can either set around and gripe and complain day in and day out,or put your butt in office and change it.
Guess complaining every day is much easier.
I doubt that there is one person on this forum that could do any better job than the people you elected and put in office are doing.

But it is easier to complain about the job they are doing, and brag about how you know more than the elected leaders do.

I don't know. If the government was like most here, the saturn 5 rocket would still be up on blocks and we'd still be dreaming of going to the moon. The engineers would be talking about how nice it's gonna be when it's finally done. Blowing hot air on the internet.

One reason I have so much trouble voting.... I have a hard time choosing between bad and worse. Show me a candidate who is for real and who is NOT in it for the money and I will vote for that person.

Well with all knowledge some on here like to think they have about how .gov and DC works, maybe they should run for office. And then when the shit hit s the fan we can complain about how bad job they are doing.

If you don't like the way things are going,do something about it............
Or let it go,and give it a break already.

:p Not mine! It would be on the way, it just wouldn't have a heater or high beams, and it would have a chronic pull to the right.....

The majority has found they can get the minority to pay for everything….how exactly can the minority do anything to change it? I am too busy making a living to run for office. I have a hard time letting it go, just like I have a hard time letting go of 40 cents of every dollar I earn to the government….that doesn’t even include, sales tax, property tax, gasoline tax, etc.

I don’t complain about it daily…but voicing your opinion positive or negative helps spread ideas and hopefully influence how people think and ultimately how they vote.

How is that working out so far?
