I'm going to be putting 1990 FE1 softride suspension on my 82. I am curious how the car will react to this being my 82 is a convertible for one. I am going to be using athe 1990 vette engine and trans so I'm guessing the front spring should be alright and not have issues with weight changes.
How does the 90 fe1 rear spring compare to my 82 rear spring which is composite as well. Should I try and do coil-overs or is there not much of a difference between c4 rear weight and my 82.
My 82 does not have a soft-top only a Hard-top so I am not sure how much weight was lost from the rear window being gone and roof and t-tops.
