Marck just emailed me that he is going to bed. He has been working on this pretty much non stop for the last few days.

What happened? Some Moroccan hacker messed with our site. For what reason? Who knows.
The good news is that this is a wake up call for us. We have new security that should prevent this in the future but we need to do more. We may be looking for a new host in the future. Godaddy REALLY let us down. They left the door open for this and then tried to charge me for loading a backup!

Once inside - did they mess any of your personal stuff?
Hope it was just "nussance" hacks and not targeted at you specifically.

It really wasn't a lot of work to fix, just a defacement. No lossed info or passwords or anything. Somehow code was injected and I think through a security issue w/ godaddy. They exploited a bunch of other sites and ours must have been caught in the crossfire. GoDaddy sucks! Hacker is a big word, more a script kiddie.
The trick was finding the encrypted code, once found I had it fixed in no time, no thanks to GoDaddy for wanting us to pay to get assistance. They never sent the server logs, they simply claim they're not at fault.

Nice job TT. You fixed this about as quickly as Amazon took to fix their site. I imagine they had more resources at their disposal.

Hacked. Going into the Forum brought you to a black screen with a scorpion on it.
BTW thanks TT and Larry for bringing it back.....and yeah, to hell with GoDaddy!

Happy to see everything is back to normal. I still think the proper punishment to the person responsible should involve the cutting off of a body part then inserting it in a very unpleasant place for them.
