Look at the steering wheel...it's an Australian Falcon. It's an Australian tree also, but there's a tremendous number of this Australian species here in So California. I think the Aussies call it a gum tree. It's an eucalyptus tree. One of the reasons they were planted here is that they flourish in arid climates. Also, if you crush the leaves, you can extract menthol. Koala's thrive on the leaves of only a few species of eucalyptus. In Australian petting zoos, you can get to cuddle a Koala. You can hold them,...they reek of menthol, the little buggers also have sharp claws, so when they cuddle up to you it can be uncomfortable.
