I've had it over on the " dark side ". 2 or 3 reasonably smart guys and a forum full of parrots. they comment on stuff and when confronted admit they have no first hand knowledge, and that is their acclaimed experts.

and when you complain about ecklers, they pull your comments, and then they deny they did.

this forum rocks, but we need to post more and keep it lively. even if it is something small it will keep it interesting.

I had the pleasure to be told by an old timer the story of why DC and VM were created.
It's a fascinating story, full of treachery and anger.
One of the constant was that CF was sucking balls at been impartial.

Concerning VM, I haven't join that long ago, but I can tell you it's was more livelty when I did. VM too had its clashes.
Let hope it's cyclic (Cali, can you here me?)
 
I still use forums in both Australia and the US but was a bit taken back recently when I posted on CF about my thermatic fan controller project and was told to stop (and the thread was removed) as it could be something I eventually sell and as such i needed to be a supporting vendor.

I will be in Kissemmee as well.

I plan on wearing my NCRS sweat shirt at the Kiss show I plan on going with Dave Amorosso who lives down the street about ten miles from me, but it looks like Saturday for us.....and of course if it's raining...well, that puts a damn damper on things....I have been to maybe two of the Kiss shows since '97 when I moved to Florida....I plan on having a name tag on my back and front....MRVETTE....

That kind of narrow minded control freak mentality is what did it for me at the CF. A bunch of goose stepping boot licking.... I could go on forever. We all remember the Durango fiascoes too.
 
friday is the only day i can go , but i hope the weathers good. but compared to the rest of the country even with rain were ahead. off topic eh?
 
Rest assured, it's going to knock quite a few socks off. I am awaiting a requested change and all will be revealed. But to make things interesting (and to hijack the poor OP's thread) you can all guess if you want. I'm betting nobody will get it. I would bet a paycheck but money is going to be quite tight over the next couple of years so I will donate $10 to the charity of the winner's choice if someone were to guess correctly. (Mods are excluded since they know)

Really?...You mean- if it's on the internet it's true. I post over there ONLY if I have first hand knowledge- then some armchair (or more likely some guy sitting in a cubicle) mechanic knows how to do it better. And continues to spew out BS.

Yes-just become a supporting vendor @ $350 a month? What "home business" is going to pay that kind of money? I refined the design of the vacuum to electric motor bracket- and got some made up. Then some A$$ clown copies the bracket and proceeds to PM's everybody who is looking for some.

So far no one is even close, well except for Kwplot34. But that's not really much of a reach now, is it?
I am just awaiting some approval from the mods because I want to play by the rules, then all will be revealed.
