Im trying to create a period correct looking sbc in a customers '55 chevy. Going for a modern rendition of a 60's street racer/gasser.
Planning on painting the heads and intake orange and going with the chevrolet script finned valve covers. 8 stack intake and webbers are in the plans down the road but for now just a holley DP. Any other styling cues from this era? I would have loved to do fenderwell headers but they wont fit with how low the car is.
The rest of the car is blue/white two-tone faux-tina, 18" rally wheels, modded t56 for the bench seat, SW black and white gauges. Any other ideas? I was thinking of stripping the down-flow radiator to bare brass but Im not sure how that will look
