I just read where former Chrysler CEO and the man who brought them back from the brink of bankruptcy in the 80`s Lee Iacocca will lose part of his pension and the use of a company car in the Chrysler bankruptcy...too bad he didn`t join the UAW.....

The UAW has announced that when they get their share of Chrysler, they will sell it.
So much for self confidence.
Wonder if the Chineese will buy it form them.

The UAW could learn from the IAM- I'ntl Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. Several years ago the IAM bought a new Lear for the big guns to travel in- and had the interior done by a NON-UNION shop. That was about 6-8 years after they decided to race at Indy- lasted like 10 laps and popped the wall- toss $100k of our dues in the trash.

Sorry, but I have not trusted the Unions for decades. It's every man for himself in this world.
Lee can do without his company car and benefits, I am sure that he has provided for himself very nicely over the last several decades.

Sad to work his ass off and devote SO much of his life to the auto industry, and get publicly slapped like this at career end....:flash:

The Gov bailed out Chrysler way back when too, just not well publicized.

I know a lobbyist that had the inside scoop back then and became wealthy from that stock deal.

I'm would be surprised if Iacocca didn't do the same, but to his credit, he did bring Chrysler up many notches.
