what is wrong with this one

custom convertible, paint and interior looks good, seems to run pretty good too .... currently at $10000 ... doesn't look too bad to me....

i wonder why they dont disclose it as an aftermarket conversion? i always hate to see obvious things that should be mentioned not mentioned, it makes you wonder what else they are not telling you....

Could be a '74 body or rear clip with a '77 front.... I wonder if VIN on frame and birdcage match, probably not but even if it's pieced together from 3 or 4 cars, if the price is right why not ?

I agree, it's quiet obvious that it's not a NCRS correct '77 :D they should have stated that in the auction....

Believe me I don't give a rats behind that it isn't NCRS but it seems wrong to claim its a 77. Just saying.;)

I really did not look all that closely but all I saw was a poorly aligned hood front seam and a bad front bumper gap on the passenger side. I would suspect that the front end was banged up and repaired at some time, but then again, most of these old 'Vettes are like that.

For 10K plus, it looks like a decent ride...

The VIN reads 1977 Coupe.
As far as the DMV would ever be concerned it's a 77.

Why is the gas cap moved to 78-82 location and why would those hinges be on the decklid .... wonder if the winning bidder noticed those hinges hahaha ... also what is that buldge in the hood scoop

bidding has ended at $15200, good to see custom Vettes sell for good money.... for a 77 I think it's a lot of money
