I have always liked the meaty sidewalls on a C3 and IMO 17" with 255-50 and 275-50 is a very good fit ... tire choices are very limited though.
18" (8x18 and 10x18) - rims are getting expensive and tires aren't cheap either: 18x10 with custom offset is around $550 per rim and a 285-40-18 tire is $300 (Yoko) :ill:
I looked at 20x10 Coys C5 rims with 4"BS (to fill the 2" flares without spacer), reasonably priced at $350 per rim...and the Yoko S.drive tires in 285-30-20 are $190.....
A few years ago I was quiet disgusted with the look of 20" on a C3.... guess I got used to bigger wheels (not the 24" spinners on Buicks)....
Anyone running 18" front and 20" rear ???
