I'm looking to replace the long A/C Cowl fresh air door actuator vacuum hose.
Don't know shit about cars, except what I learned so far from my resto, so I have no idea if those vacuum climate control is/was common practice or a Corvette crazy privilege.
Couldn't this hose or similar in the Summit Catalog.
Found on Ebay some 0.08"/2mm ID silicon vaccum hose, but found out the OD is 6mm, much bigger than stock.
Sure, Vette specialized vendor have complete kits, but I don't want to pay the Corvette taxe, and I don't need the whole kit, just this damn long thin hose.
Any tips?

ALL hoses are common parts house local supply type shit.....

nothing unique.....

as long as ID fits ... it's just a hose....
Yeah, I know, still, fidding a place that sell such small hose is not easy.
Home Depot don't have such, neither Canadian Tire.
Industrial supply stores are only open when I work :(
I'll probably have to take a day off to go check this out.

just search online.... places like AutoZone probably sell these... also , 2mm ID is not too uncommon for lawnmower fuel lines... HomeDepot sells that stuff....

Good tips.
Alas Home Depots here don't carry as much choice as the one in the US

Most auto supplies sell vacuum line by the foot.
You're right, I should give NAPA a call tomorrow.

All this make me think I should stop on my way to work to ask my garage where they would get this from.
