My '73 drivers side window glass needs to be able to raise about 1/8" more for a good tight fit against the weatherstrip. Is there a simple adjustment that can be made? The window tracks well and is aligned properly, it just needs to come up a bit more.

:goodnight:

There should be a "roller stop" on each channel. With the door panel off, you can see these on the upper part of the inner door. I believe the bolt heads are 1/2". You should be able to loosen them just enough to allow the "stops" to slide upward. Make sure you move both an equal amount as the window will become lopsided in the opening.

As you look at all the krazy mounting shit in there, you will find the window typically will ride closer into the front window A pillar, the part that slanted, so watch that adjustment too, and don't do what I did, and let one of the 3 screws holding that trim and the rubber on the steel, HIT the side window glass....it will chip it or worse....

:flash:

Thanks guys!

When I get a chance I'll pull the door panel and see what I can do.

Let us know how it works out and "don't slam the door" while test fitting! I've seen windows shatter when they nick a pillar post.:(
