WOOHOO!! It took 8 weeks to get here...

Nice box.
That will last forever. Do you get them off the truck over there or do you have to buy here ship etc.
I still use my from the early 70's, but they didn't have big ones then.

There are some unbelievable Snapon used deals on Craigslist around here, since so many dealerships and garages have closed etc.
I've seen boxes that size full of Snap on tools askeing less than 3 grand. Feel sorry for those guys, you know they spent big bucks for them especially if it was on time.

Obama is going to fix all this.

It seems his ultimate goal is to make the history books.
He hasn't figured out yet that he will probably go down as worse than Jimmy Carter. :cussing:

No doubt. He is building a reputation. And not a good one.

I didn't think it was possible, but Kattah has bee surpassed....no doubt...

I found one on craigslist last year, little older model, no tools, full size 14 drawer bottom box...........$300.

Sweet .... thank god it came with instructions... :smash::smash:

it came with a free BBQ cover ???

Had to buy the BBQ cover separate.

Did the Snapon fairy fill it with tools also?:drink:
No, but I've spent a lot of time "appropriating" enough tools to fill it. Just gotta cut out all the tool shapes in the foam now. Bit of a military thing I guess but I hate losing tools.

Lookin Good Saudi, better get a pic for the Snapon calendar before your wife throws it out in the garage.:photo:
Hehe, it's allowed to stay inside until we move to our new compound. Gives me a damn fine idea for some photo's though... :club:

That's why I wanted to buy a Snapon cab, because it'll literally last forever. There's a Snapon dealer here and they had smaller roll cabs but I wanted the 40" one so they ordered it from the US (or Canada maybe?). I know there's some good deals to be had out there but I would blow any saving on getting it shipped out here - on it's shipping palette, it took 4 of us to lift this one off the ute! I'm gonna be here a few more years and I want my tools out here so I can use them.

It was a bit of a splurge but my dad left us kids some money when he died and my wife said I should buy something to remember him by. Dad was a home taught spanner monkey and did all his own car work where he could so I reckon he'd approve of the roll cab

GOOD show mate, I have my father's old tool box from home building/carpentry/framing, and then aircraft wing prototype construction with Glen Martin aircraft in Cleveland Ohio ....decades ago...
it goes to my son...

:loveletter:

For anyone that cares,
Waterloo Industries in Iowa makes the tool boxes for SnapOn and others.
They have several different "grades" of boxes, so unless you are overseas, it is worth price checking with them, if you are into new.

You should be bowing in it's presence!
I did, just didn't get a photo of that... :yahoo:

I decided that I'm going to piss off the rigid casters and put on another pair of swiveling casters. With those rigid casters, it was a pita to move around empty, I can't imagine it would be any easier when it's full!

NICE! This is definately on my list of things to buy, can't say I'm not jealous....:D
