My 70 front clip had extensive damage and it's repair was an exercise in slop, slap, bondo sculpture and a jig saw puzzle technique to bond all the smashed fiberglass panels back together. To hold the drivers side quarter panel in place until the epoxy hardened, they shot sheet metal screws through the quarter panel pieces and into the vacuum can! This was a real surprise, I wanted to remove the can and after undoing all the vacuum can bolts (6), the can still won't move! Took a long time to discover that sheet metal screws was holding it in place and a longer time to break the can free from the screws.
