12 bolt

That is just an old junk rotor I drilled out to make a cart for the TA install. I won’t be cleaning it.

Well, more hack work from me. Getting older and can’t muscle stuff together like in the past. Cobbled together the jig below. Got one side in now one to go. My laser level I used for alignment last time had the batteries leak and corroded it. So probably have to check Amazon or HF for a replacement. Need to get this car going again.

Oh, got it. Usually when the batteries are frozen in place, everything is too corroded to fix. Amazon had a cheap replacement.

Well, my bubba rear wheel alignment is moving along. :)

Flipped the rotor and bolted it on. Used a HF strip magnet bolted to an aluminum angle to create a shelf for the laser level.

A bit of adjusting, then tighten it all down.

Yeah, I did that a few years ago. I posted a few pictures, in the other 12 bolt thread (I think). Was kind of hard with the body on. I have a southern frame sitting waiting for upgrade and full cage.

A bit bubba, but ….

Fender flares will stay bolted on for this reason.

The aftermarket rotors don’t fit flush to the outer axles, as they are only counter sunk on the inslde.

Grabbed an old rotor did some extra counter sinking and clearancing on the outer face. Then flipped and made both surfaces parallel.

This should work a bit better for a bubba alignment.

Thanks for the A ->Z Hook up. My laser level crapped its battery pack too. I am just about to do a front set up and check. Gotta fix a bumpsteer problem with the steering rack.

AHHH - ain't Hot Rodn' FUN!

Cheers - Jim
BTW - Nice "skates" - picked up a similar set

To check the laser level for parallel last time, I got a 6 ft angle. Put the laser level at one end and verified it did not diverge. Still need to do that on this one.

This post reminded me to check the batteries in my laser levels. 2 of them were dead but not corroded. Thanks for reminding me.
