1971 C3 Corvette for sale

There is a 1971 C3 Corvette for sale on Corvetteforum.com
The car is Alan71 Corvette, its a beauty.
Worth a look.

It looks very nice and scored very high points according to the article. Not for me, but I’m sure someone will be happy to get it for their collection.

Maybe some NCRS types will weigh in.
 
The NCRS could make judging manuals from Alan's car. Even for those of us that don't go the factory correct route, his photos and descriptions on the other forum are very helpful when you're trying to figure out how it was supposed to be before Bubba got ahold of it. Sometimes that Bubba was 17 year old me... Whoever ends up with Alan's car will have a very meticulously restored C3 to enjoy.
 
Alan was an old customer of mine. Poof he was gone - it was a mystery why Alan disappeared from participation on Corvette web sites. I will not guess. Anyone know fact?

I spoke with Alan regarding the sale of his 71', he's a hell of a guy (which he just sold to a new lucky owner) and he's doing well, he just turned 80, I suspect being hunched over the computer for hours on end lost some of its luster.
