Why is it that EVERY GOD DAMN THING I BUY THESE DAZE IS A POS????

It was on the vette, one section of the switch controlled the TCC function on the 200 4r trans, and also killed the cruise control, if activated.....

but the ONE section that controlled the lights, of course worked, the other section was flat out defective....I was going after solenoids, valves, Torque converter and O ring, and check balls....

but it would only seem to do it when hot and on the freeway, cool down and be fine around the neighborhood,

finally caught it pants down here in the garage this afternoon, every time it would fail, on the road, pull in the garage, and engine still, key on, I could hear the solenoid click, it was working THEN....every time....

but on the road, no lockup.....

That is why I chase down and pay more for NOS GM parts. Too many repop crap issues.

I dunno Jeff, I just wish I did the relay fix, like I did now, one switch closes for the brake lights, and the other opens for releasing the TCC/cruise....

TCC draws .5 amp max....used my DVM to hook up to find the shit....

I put a old GM relay in there on the brake light circuit....much regret I did not follow that logic that DID occur to me, but NO, I thought eliminate a part and simplify/update the car....

OK Gene, take a chill pill, I have some Damitols around here somewhere... the important thing is you got i fixed. I agree - new repop parts are a crapshoot.
