Anyone do a wrap on your C3?

My morning news said it was the northern side of town most affected. Is that true? Where are you located?

Good Luck!

I am located in the east of the city and north of the new air port, just before Min Buri.

I heard on NPR last night that Bangkok is sinking at the rate of 4" per year. At only 1 or 2 meters above sea level that doesn't bode well for the future.....

Good luck.

It is sinking 3-4cm and yes 1-3 meters ASL. With global warming this flooding is just the beginning.:hissyfit::crap:

National Geographic magazine in an article a few months ago had an article about the Blue Holes of Bermuda. At the end of the last ice age, 18,000 years ago, Bermuda was a very large island off of the coasts of Cuba and Florida. The island itself was a plateau of limestone. Rainwater, laced with carbon dioxide, etched sinkholes and caves in the limestone. As the ice age glaciers melted the sinkholes and caves would flood. Today, only the highest points of the post ice age Bermuda are above water. By exploring the sinkholes and caves that were progressively flooded, National Geographic published the results as being a 410 foot rise in ocean level over the last 18,000 years. This translates into about 1 foot of ocean rise every 45 years. If ocean levels rise at the overall long term average, you've got quite a few years to go.

By the way, National Geographic is on the man made global warming bandwagon, but in the above article there was not a word about man made global warming.

Well my place was dry but not every one has kept dry, and still in the soup...
