Interesting. I talked with a Timken tech who was very experienced. I couldn't get a frim answer on the current mobil 1. Remember a Mobil tech did tell me the formulation was changed. I'm certainly not a chemist, just an old vette guy. I thought of rigging up a motor to drive the completed arms but that's become a long process that I shouldn't have to do to setup bearings. Taking the advice of the Timken tech, I located Timkens new red grease to use. This was not an easy find in my area or online but I did get some. It's more
"jelly" like but should work fine. That is what I'll use and then compare the setups. Any question and I'll look elsewhere.
Not sure why the Mobil tech told me they don't make the grease but he did.
