Batteries?

That 3year warranty Duralast Gold deal at AutoZone is pretty good, never had a problem getting a new battery when one failed. Sears is pretty good too, actually WalMart and Advanced Auto aren't any worse either when it comes to warranty replacement, none of them has given me any crap about warranty....
I got 7 years out of my Interstate battery in my Z28, Florida heat and all, I was quiet impressed....

For all car owners, we need rite down the purchase dates on all major components, markers should work for batteries, paint brush for other units....just as I marker the oil quantity with filter, and the wrench size on the drain plug under the hoods.....

I"m lazy....

You need the receipt most of the times, sometimes you're lucky and they can find you in their system but better safe than sorry.... Most receipts are faded after a year or so and you can't read anything.... I scan my receipts and then print them if I need one ... should have seen the guy's face when I gave him a receipt printed on 11x17... just wanted to make sure the print is big enough to read it without glasses... receipt was like 5 years old but "lifetime warranty".... LOL

Yes, the amazing modern disappearing ink of most receipts.....

keeping them longer than 3-4 years even for TAX purposes becomes useless....

which is probably why my old CPA said to not bother keeping anything older than 3 years....:crutches:
