Broke another motor mount.

I think I agree with Marck here. Not that I have the background he has but just through my own ignorance I've run poly mounts all around and haven't cracked anything (yet).

Pulled the left motor mount out yesterday, and it came out in two pieces (no surprise). The dumbass who put my engine in put the long bolt in the wrong direction (hitting the headers when I tried to take it out) :footmouth: so I had a choice to remove the header and clutch crossshaft, or just cut the bolt. I hate to destroy good parts (even if it's just a bolt) but I've been time limited lately due to some family issues, so I just took my plasma cutter to the bolt. Good thing I've still got the '84 to use as a temporary parts car.
My thanks to TimAT for his help finding a speed shop to get some poly mounts. The normal parts stores don't carry them, and the Good Guys street rod/machine show at Kansas Speedway wasn't any help. The vendors didn't seem to carry many parts with them to the show.
If time allows before the next track day I'll add an additional torque link to give me a bit more confidence that this issue (broken mounts) is history.
