Try driving a 1920 Model T on the freeway in traffic.
I've always wanted to try driving a Model T with that looney planetary gear transmission controlled by the foot pedals. I have yet to find someone who owns one and will let me take it for a spin, though.
My dad has a 1930 Ford AA stakebed, it's a lot more conventional than the Ts but can still be scary to drive except on city streets and back roads. I have a high-speed rear end for it still strapped to a rotted-out junker we hauled home from Wisconsin years ago, but I don't know when I'll get around to rebuilding it. With that, I might be able to get it up to about 50 safely, rather than being run over at 42. What's worse, it has a shortened frame as it was originally a dump truck, so the taillight is buried under the bed. I have a second taillight and plans to relocated them to a spot closer to the back of the bed, but that's something else that has yet to be done...
