Ok i'm sure this has been brought up before, and I seem to remember twin saying he actually built one..or is my old age getting to me? Has anyone ever done a write up on making a tilt front for a c-3? Twin, do you have any pics of the one you did? any help would be nice. I'd really like to do the tilt on my C3 project is its feasable. thoughts?

like this?? yours for $400...comes with both lower fenders and everything you need to mount it..............

I once pondered with buying a front frame section from a C4 and mod it so my 82 front bumper cover is supported like a C4's and use a C4 cooling capsule then graft the hood to the fenders and hinge it front like a c4.

Yes, I did it. Have to look if I still have pics.

That front clip that howard has woald be nice if the headlight pockets were painted flat black and then a lexan panel fitted that matched the original curves.

I agree, but I don't think it'd be too big an issue to graft in those pieces so the fenders are complete and the headlights can go in the grille

Oh I agree...I think it would be a hot look for sure..just not what I am after on this one...the c4 idea is interesting, but I've been staring at my front for the last few days while I have been working on it and I keep thinking that its possible..possible hinging it down near the radiator support or making those brackets longer and using that as a pivot. I didn't really want to cut the back in 2 or like a clamshell, but maybe it will have to be that way...haven't worked that far out yet I'm just in the design stage right now and looking for ideas.

I did it, or am in the final process of it on my 73. I haven't written it up, but I could upload some pix. I used a lot of materials I had laying around, didn't cost much, but time. Some might say bubba approach, but I think of it as problem solving...
