I don't know if this has been posted before but I was feeling kind of nostalgic and thinking of my old cars. Unfortunately I have no pics to back up any of this but I sure do have a lot of fond memories... I got my first car at age 17 but it was with the second car that my list starts. I am going to try and keep these in chronological order.

1969 Plymouth Satellite Convertible 318 auto
1969 Plymouth Road Runner 383 auto
1969 Plymouth Road Runner 440 4 spd.
1970 Dodge Super Bee 383 Hurst Pistol grip 4 spd.
1969 Javelin AMX 390 4 spd.
1971 Datsun 510 4 spd.
1973 Vega fast back 4 cyl. 2 spd. auto
1972 Chevelle coupe 350 auto
1966 GMC Pick up 305 V6 4 spd.

For a while I had the three Plymouths at the same time. Those were the days!

:drink:

The only car/truck I used to have that I wish I still had was a 68 C10 pickup straight 6 and 3 spd col shift. A car I wish I had was one my dad owned when he was younger, it was a 31 Caddilac rumble seat coupe 1 of a few for Ontario I think he told me it had a supercharger.

I kinda miss my hot-rodded Eagle Talon TSi AWD. Big turbo, big brakes, would run like hell and handle well in just about any conditions, including deep snow.

I would sure miss those Road Runners!

I can't watch Barrett-Jackson or Mecum without getting pissed off. The Satellite convertible was the same body style as the Road Runner, just a different trim package. It was purchased for $35.00, worth a small fortune today. gone 4 ever.

which reminds me!

I also had a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda fastback, 225 slant six, auto, paid $40.00 for it and was the "B" titled owner.

Only other car I ever had that wasn't a total piece of shit was an '81 T/A, complete with 4-speed, shaker scoop and big chicken on the hood. Sure, it had a pathetic little 305 in it, but motor swaps are easy. Sold that when I got the Vette. One or the other, so the T/A had to go. If I could have kept both, I would have. Still kind of miss that old mullet mobile.

2 For me-
67 Chevelle SS, 396, 4 speed, Black/Black interior. Traded it in and got $500

73 Z-28. I still have the engine from that one- it's now a 355- back in my street racing days, used to embarass the 455 Trans-Am's. 73 was a bad year- they used a bad grade of beer cans for sheet metal. IT just rusted away.

There are SO many, but trick is, in reality, there was a good reason they all got sold, at the time......

having said that...My old '67 GP, reincarnated as a buddy's GP convertible...one year ONLY.....after that, I suppose the 'Goat' '70 Lemans sport convertible...

:gurney:

Reminds me of of the 68 AMX 390 I had back in the 70s, dash plaque #528.
Playboy gave playmate of the year Victoria Vetri a new factory painted pink one in 68. She kept it for 42 years and sold it in July of 2010. Her dash plaque was her measurements #362335.
Then in Oct of 2010 shot her husband in the back and in Sept of 2011 was sentenced to 9 years in the penn at age 67.

Close- I didn't have the Rally front end- full bumper, and it was Midnight Blue with white stripes.

1960 Austin Healey 3000

1913 Model T Touring

The ones I let get away hurt more...........:suicide:

'55 Chevy 2 door sedan-- my first car @14 years old. 6 banger & 3 on the tree but I dreamed of a 327 & 4 speed. The guy who bought it from me took it figure 8 racing. Still makes me sad.
'56 Chevy 2 door sedan---with a 327 & 4 speed! Oh yeah! It came down to a choice, I had to sell that or my....
'59 Chevy 3600 3/4 ton long bed truck. I ended up keeping that truck for 27 years.
But mostly,
'59 Austin-Healy 100-6 two seater. My Corvette is a substitute for that.
Honorable mention:
'65 Chevy hippie van, all set up for living in, which I did for most of year traveling the west when I was 19. Got taken out by a drunk driver making a U-turn in front of me.

Now motorcycles I wish I still had.....
'59 BSA A-10
'69 BSA Lightning
'60 HD Duo-Glide
'37 flathead 80 bobber
'76 HD rigid bobber
'56 HD 'mix-n-match' everything from '53 to '84 on it

Girls I wish had---Wow! Claudia Jennings & Liv Lindeland!! Boy those two are still seared into my brain! I can picture their layouts in my head right now.....Those issues were 'well used'......

Road Runner 69, 383 4 spds Dana rear end...bought it for 2500 and sold it at the end of the summer 2500.
If I remember correctly I was the third owner, the car was pristine.

didnt have a garage to park it for the winter at the time.
Always missed that one.

Old guy that had a lot of cars. Don't want to bore anyone, but here is my top car list:

1940 Chevy powered Ford Coupe
1956 T-Bird
1957 Corvette
1966 Shelby GT Mustang
1966 TVR Griffith
1969 Super Bee 383 4 speed
1969 XKE
(2) 1969 Porsche 911s
My current '76 'vette stroker

A friend, once remarked, that if I had saved all the cars that I ever owned, I would be very rich.
