Are the drawings pretty detailed? I need to see what the actual hardware differences are between the 68-early'69 and the later (late'69-82) mechanisms. I'm trying to see if it's easier to replace part of the mechanism or just modify my hardware.
The drawings are pretty detailed as far as assembly. The glass adjustment proceedure looks comprehensive (however I have never done this).
I have a 68 AIM and a 73 AIM. I can send you copies of both sections and I do have my 68 doors and components from a 76 door on hand. I certainly could compare the two.
If I recall correctly, the major difference is in the two vertical guides. The regulator should be the same. Maybe someone here knows.

That's my initial impression. I'm just trying to figure out a way to minimize the major changes to the in-door hardware. Right now I'm mulling over options for an adapter to bolt up the new window to the old tracks.
If it's not terribly inconvenient I'd sure appreciate seeing some info from the '73 AIM.
Mike, I will get copies of the 68 and 73 AIM sections and send them to you. I might be able to get the 76 channels out and see if there is a difference with the 68's.
