hardtop installation

[87Roadster]

Has anybody installed a hardtop on an early c4 ( specifically 87 ) convertible. Is there a kit required or available? Do I need to modify my windshield brackets, or can they be replaced with 89 or later units? Same question in relation to rear deck latches. Any other help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

First off, Welcome to the motley crew of the Flying Dutchmen....

I too had a '87 vert...some years ago, but sorry no HT for it, so I can't really help you....bet someone else can though....

You will need a retrofit kit to install the hardtop. I think you might be looking at buying the parts from a salvage yard. The install instructions may tell you what parts you will need.
