Misc Vintage Racing Clips

Last time I saw the car in person was 10 years ago & I never got to look under the hood. It was prepped at that time at Jim Glass Corvette in upstate NY. A few months ago Mark told me he had a new mechanic shop around Buffalo? NY. Honestly don't know if 350, 383, 427, 454, 502.

It sounded real sweet in the videos I shot at Limerock. It amazing how far back he was in the 3 heats at Limerock & ended up winning that Group Trophy. Since Watkins Glen is a bigger & even more hilly curvy track - Mark must have his mojo back after an absence from the vintage race scene.

I'll see what he says.

More nascar and Indy content, but I thought this was pretty informative. Lots of cgi, but fairly well done.

Cheating, granted it is nascar, but still a form of road racing.

The last guy describes it like an addiction:).

Mostly c1 race cars. Lots of period correct mods. The driver position appears to be set back in a few.

Not "Vintage" just yet, this just in from GRM:
GRM C5 Fast laps.jpg

Was it faster? They say 3 seconds faster than a C8. This was run and shot at The FIRM, my closest track. We've spent a number of days there with the SR.
When "Elvira" is finished - I have a lap time to beat.

Cheers - Jim

C5Zs are a great car. I imagine that car is heavily modified, are they comparing it to an oem c8?
