This raise a new question about the ultimate trans for our C3 huh?
It ca handle 800hp?
How about the torque?

I don't know anything about Horse power I have a C3 Corvette, not a Toyota.

I know the Toyota engine will fit in the vette but I don't think the rear end will handle all that extra HP

Hey Dean glad someone has done this, I was told by a friend here in Australia to have a look at the toyota supra box apparently it can handle a big amount of abuse and its reasonably priced. He was saying there is a compnay here in Australia that make very good bell housings and other bits and pieces so I think that will be the way for me!!!!

Go For it that trans I think is the same as i have and so far it is working just fine. My only hiccup is the Speedometer as the Toyota was electric and I have now found a way to get it gear driven. If you hear of a way to do it please let me know.

Thanks but that would be impossible to build over here. I was thinking there must be some other option as there are many doing this swap around the world.:sos:
