I am working on door panels that "merge" C6 panels to work on a C3. The C6 panels have an electric latch for the door that is operated by a push button. I have the electric latch worked out.
I assume (could be wrong), that the C6 has some type of motion activated switch that that disables the door latch switch. Although I think the chances are remote, I'm kind of concerned that a passenger could push the button while the car is in motion.
The requirements for this switch is that it has to be able to sense that the car is in motion but not stopped (or coasting in idle). So probably no vacuum switching. I'm thinking a RPM switch? I do have a VSS but it controls the speedometer and you can't split the signal.
