I had the privilege of being told by the Bird himself the whole story while blasting down the freeway. That was truly fascinating.
Funny how actually you/we should all thank him. He was and apparently still is brilliant in the role of the douchiest douche ever, Pretentious down the avatar *sigh* .
So unbearable he made you unite. He is a virus that triggered evolution.
Don't know if he realized yet that little detail in Jeff's avatar, because I just did :rofl::rofl: that was the icing on the cake.
Isn't "Junkman2008" some kind of official at DC? Looks like he's pouring in with pleasure.
Admit it, you all love to tickle him for time to time  :hunter::gurney:
fun stuff .... somehow I have a feeling about how this is going to end.... LOL

I'm with you. I still giggle every time I think of the alternator clocking threat where one of our exulted members (CD maybe?) pointed out that even if you clock an alternator wrong, it's still right twice a day.
pardon me for my lousy memory,

Louzy memory???
Gene you keep remembering things 20 years ago...

I don't know about some of his suggestions, but the one he came up with regarding installing led lights and painting the white behind the gauges was right on. I followed his suggestions on my 80 and my 81 and it works great. With out changing the gauge faces my gauges are bright as as can be, following his pictures and suggestions.
