Ok Tim here are the pics. for you guy's tuning in,i have an oil leak i suspect from the rear main seal again.
pilot brg fell out in my hands and fits very loose in crank, and on the shaft of the trans.

plug behind the cam,has sealant on it,and behind the sealant it is wet.

that bushing looks more steel than bronze...does it stick to a magnet? as to the leak, can you seal up the valve cover breathers and inject a few (like 4) pounds of air into one of the breathers while you squirt the rear main area with soapy water? You`ll find your leak....looking at the back of the crank it almost looks like a small freeze plug....

I went through this when my race motor was new except with a dry sump I was sucking air. the engine builder came over and we were able to inject a small amount of air into the motor and spray soapy water...it bubbled right away. Is there something in the back of the crank?

I think that cam plug may be leaking, the sealant around it,which i have never seen done before,i can lift up the edge of the sealant and it is wet underneath.

Oh behind the crank is the 2 piece seal adapter. instead of using a 1 piece seal crank, that is a 2 piece seal crank.

Now there's a thought- figure out how to GENTLY pressurize the crankcase and get out the soapy water. 1 or 2 psi should be plenty. Some duct tape and rags should do it.

Yea i was just thinking about that, get a new pan gasket and put the pan back on,tape over the holes in the VC and the dipstick tube and pressure it up.

Unless you ripped the gasket taking it apart, stuff the old one back on. You're going to replace it anyway

Yea the 1 piece Fel-Pro blue broke,so i have to go get another one, hope the part stores have one, the 1 piece blue.

We use the Corteco gaskets which is the oil Detriot gasket with a little work, This gasket is a much softer gasket and will not break. 16635 P/N

Thanks, Karl. Any suggestions on my oil leak problem? I have changed the rear main once last year, but that time it was pissing oil, I have a drip this time only while running,it just started leaking :banghead:
How about that cam plug ???

I went and found the dimensions for the pilot brg,and mine is off on all dimensions, except for the ID  checked the ford dimensions and it's not even close, guess mine was made on a Monday :drink:

What do you mean paint the engine compartment,i did that when i had was building this motor, cleaned it all up and used POR15 in there, but i am going to clean on the frame some more.from the cross member back needs painted still.

If you have oil around the cam plug then you can bet it's leaking. Why not just change it while it's available.

Here is the best 2 piece rear seal.
Fel-pro FFP2912 Red Fluoroelastomer, Offset

Here are the 100% oilite pilot bearings. Should last thru several clutch changes.
Gm Oilite P/N 3752487
Napa Oilite BK-6151161

GM Needle P/N 14061685

I remember you having oil problems before and you came up with a creative pcv system. It might be worth testing that. No seals or gaskets in the world will overcome constant positive crankcase pressure.

You may take a good vacuum/pressure gauge and tape it into the dipstick tube so you can test the pressure under various rpms with your pcv system operating.

Hey thanks for all the part #'s,i am going to town tomorrow to get parts, and i am replacing everything i can get my hands on,and the cam plug is on the list.

No chance of any crankcase pressure in that motor,I have 2 -12an ss/braided lines going to a puke can, with a vacuum pump attached to the air/oil separator. 1 line off of each valve cover, with a filtered fresh air inlet.
