Thanks for the kind word Arthur, but I don't want anyone to get his reputation tarnished trying to defend me, that was not the purpose of my post.why are you guys comparing Denpo to DoucheBagBoy ? I can't see that he's done anything wrong ? He did not get what he paid for, regardless of the price he paid. Just my opinion based on what I read here .

I just coudn't not reply to the smearing, but as I said I don't expect anything good coming out of it anymore.
My fault was to deal with someone who was clueless about was he was selling, lesson learned.
For those comparing me to DB, oh well, I guess they feel good relieving themselves on the little frenchy (poor Canada has nothing to do with that). That was a classy touch.
Time to move on and find a new freedom caliper.

Ummm.....
Just because Gene makes a statement, doesn't make it the collective consciousness of everyone else.
When did you start listening to him anyway?
Ok buddy, I get it, everything's cool.:hissyfit:Come on guys, I thought everyone would roll in the isles laughing....
jeez, lighten up already.....
:surrender:
As soon as I could understand him, and I know he's doing effort for me to read his posts. Well, at least when he's not taking those funny looking pills that makes him see catfish on canoe.:nuts:Ummm.....

fwiw.. i thought the canada south park cartoon was funny
I was too edgy to get it, but yeah, south park's "blame canada" sound is just hilarious, and even more in the context.fwiw.. i thought the canada south park cartoon was funny
Yep. You gotta love the freedom of speach here, as well as the "thick skinned" knuckle humor.

Any ideas?
Any ideas?
here you can find numerous size bleeders and repair kits:
http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/2011/087.pdf
Repair kits are usually for stripped threads but it sounds like your threads are fine ?? Is the thread size 3/8? They sell the bleeders in 1.25" and 1.50" length, maybe the longer bleeder works for you ?
Maybe having such piece machined.... but it won't be cheap.

I've checked and the bleeder thread is 5/16-24, it seem to be the standard bleeder size on C3's calipers.
I've looked down the hole and not much remain of the seat, almost a straight hole all the way down.
Yeah, the thread are still good, too bad there is no replacement seat I could screw down there, a little piece of bronze with a hex hole in the middle for and small allen key.
