Replacing Convertible Top Frame Rivets Question

I'm rebuilding my convertible top from my 69. Besides all the rust issues which I have pretty well under control now, it seems most of the rivets on the drivers side holding the frame together are very loose and inhibits the frame from smooth operation.

So I need to put in new rivets and bushings. I see on Paragons website they sell a tool to go in an air hammer to set the rivets. Does anyone have experience doing this repair and have any tips? Any special way to hold the back side of the rivets other than using a BFH.

hello are u talking about the t tops this is beast pratt well my tops were comming apart from the frame separateing the glass from the frame so i put some j-b weld in where the bolts hold the glass the seam still holding the glass im happy and water proof YEA.....
