As for next year. I'm going for sure. Probably not running Optima (though, they are going to Willow Springs in mid-October) I have a new house to build and new shop in Sandpoint so some things are going to get cut. SEMA no.... but bringing something to show or doing Optima....

I haven’t been to the LV (LosWages) SEMA show for 30, 35, ? years.

The taiwan middlemen were there even back then. Met up with one chinese middleman. Steve – and he made a few parts. But the metal was thinner, or not heat treated or other defect. He soured me on those imported repro’s. Never went back.

That 53-55 Red Kindig coupe is more voluptuous than a C8’s. It’s very fluid. The c8’s are all sinister; lots of broken up planes, surfaces, elements. I’m not saying I don’t like the c8 – I do.

But if I got a new one, I’d drive it too hard and fast.
