Shimming flex plate

So I'm a little slow.

After checking the end play, which was large but not large enough to account for the problem, I put on my stroker flexplate from by blown engine. Everything lined up just fine. I bought a new flexplate from Summit. Bolted it in today and the problem is solved.

I can't belive that a flexplate was messed up that badly. I can't decide if I should send it back to the vendor, throw it in the garbage or save it for next years Christmas thread for someone that I don't like :wink:

Send it back. Vendors need to know about trash, and eat them.
