Stupid question about ""burnouts""

OK here's the only decent pic of my pathetic little burnout.
The first one, the car started creeping forward, I couldn't stop it so after about 30 feet I stopped. Not nearly as much smoke.
This is the second one, I held the car still and got 'em smoking good. I know it got a lot smokier, I had to back off when the smoke filled the cockpit to where I could hardly see the windshield. I coulda kept it up till I was on the rims. Unfortunately I was not in control of the camera, so this is the only shot, taken too soon.
Kinda funny, but all that went through my mind after a few seconds is "My poor brakes! What am I doing to my brakes?" I immediately went for a run for a mile or so up & back the highway to cool them off.
Yeah it was fun, I can see how it can be addictive. But I just can't do that shit to my brakes anymore.
New tires on Monday: Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s, 255/60-15 in front, 275/60-15 rear, blackwall out.

I dunno, maybe tomorrow (Saturday) night after dark I'll run out Hwy 402 to the 4-way stop at the Johnstown road intersection and leave a couple good trails of my own to add to the many already there......Yeah, that sounds like a plan.....

(PS: If you look in the shop, to the left you can Bruce's Vette where he's installing a new MSD box & distributor on his 383, and to the right through the smoke above my cowl is the ass end of Wesley's 72 Camaro where he's rejetting the Holley on his 502.....)

Sounds like you did good enough to impress the boys. Be careful. Sometimes the cops hang out on those known drag areas waiting with their lights out. I almost got caught for street racing with the GN in Longmont one night. I had plenty of space because the backup drove right past me about 1/4 mile before i saw brake lights, so i hamered it and gave them the slip. The other guy ran first and got caught. Chevelle SS454. I pulled him by half a car length. I get all jacked up thinking about the good ole days.
